We picked Charters Ancaster because the small class size means my daughter gets the attention she needs to learn at her own pace

 I chose the school because of its family atmosphere. The teachers know the children well and really show that they care.

 Charters Ancaster has made a great difference to my son. From being average at lessons in the space of a few short terms he has even won a prize for English. I’m so glad I moved him.

 Few small schools offer as many facilities and activities. My children have the chance to achieve academically and take part in sports, art, drama and music too.

 Lunch is always great – I love the roast dinners

 We play lots of sport – there is something different every day. I like swimming best.

 I love music. I get music lessons with my class and have learnt to play the piano too.

 We get Golden Time every Friday when I get to choose my favourite activity.

 We go on lots of trips. I’ve been to the theatre and to a sheep farm. When I’m older I want to go on one of the trips where you stay overnight. Last year, year 5 and 6 went to France.

George Dixon: The teachers are very understanding and help you a lot and there are lots of opportunities to learn to play musical instruments and take part in sports.

 Ethan Umpleby: I like Charters Ancaster because all my class mates are  great and friendly. All the lessons are really interesting. In year 6 you get to build rockets and fly them – it’s brill!  Charters is the best school in the world.
