4. Creative Development
Activities for creative play will be proved
daily and children will be able to choose activities for themselves. There will
be a range of materials used, including pencils, paint, pens, glue, scissors,
modelling material, musical instruments, dressing up clothes, items from the
home corner, puppets etc. They will have singing and percussion work and
opportunities for imaginative play.

5. Knowledge and Understanding of
the World
Children will be given opportunities to
explore the natural and man-made world during the exploration of termly or half-termly
"themes" such as Ourselves, Building, Farming, The Seasons, Hot
& Cold etc. Our school grounds will be used for exploration, discovery
and experimentation within the natural world.

6. Physical Development
Children will be able to practise physical
skills such as jumping, climbing, running, movement to music, balance etc. They
will use a range of small apparatus and a climbing frame. At all times children
are closely supervised to ensure safety while they gain confidence. They may
also use bicycles and some small apparatus during breaks.
